SeaWorld officials announced its new wooden coaster will be the tallest, longest and fastest ride of its kind in Texas. Texas Stingray will feature a top drop distance of 100 feet, with nearly 3,400 feet of track at 55 mph. It's set to debut in spring 2020.

To be situated on a site near SeaWorld’s new Turtle Reef attraction and its Orca Stadium, the coaster will feature a 100-foot-long tunnel as well as multiple banks and turns, some at angles approaching 80 degrees.
