Dragon is coming down. While the gates are closed to the public at Adventureland, Altoona, Iowa, construction crews are hard at work dismantling the 30-year-old roller coaster.
Dragon made its debut at the popular theme park in May of 1990. As for what will replace it, Adventureland has only released a teaser image, shown below, indicating the ride will open in 2021.
