Coaster Con is about coming together to interact, build friendships and celebrate roller coasters. Since the current health situation does not offer us this opportunity to come together, ACE will be gathering for special activities during the week of June 21 with Coaster Con at Home, a virtual at-home celebration. Everything featured during the week will spotlight all the parks that ACE was scheduled to be visiting!

Although not the ideal coaster celebration, it will offer members many of the components enjoyed each year for interaction and celebration, along with some new experiences. All members will be able to participate. You can find all the information about Coaster Con at Home at aceonline.org/athome and on the Facebook event page:  https://www.facebook.com/events/179842150027170

To offer you those interactions that we love, we will have three Coaster Chat Meetups hosted by ACE’s podcast team of Clint Novak and Kris Rowberry. Join the conversation via Zoom or watch from Facebook Live.

Not to worry, some favorite aspects of Coaster Con will be available, including park and history presentations, games and VRT, the at-home virtual ERT sessions. Presentations will include park speakers and history features of the park. Plus, the event includes the traditional photo and video contests. New to Coaster Con at Home this year is a No Limits 2 Re-creation contest for all who enjoy virtual building. Members will be able to vote online for all these contests, so be sure to check the schedule for how to cast a vote.

Through the ACE Facebook page, members will have the opportunity to browse photos of Coaster Cons of the past, postcards and other vintage features from our host parks, and peruse the Art Gallery featuring coloring pages and other roller coaster-related art work submitted by ACE members. There will also be extra #ShareYourMoments drawings throughout the week, so keep sharing those special photos (link for more info - aceonline.org/moments).

Activities will take place at various times. Some will be available just the day of the virtual visit to the park, like the scavenger hunts and trivia. Recordings of interviews will be available afterward via YouTube and Facebook. Other activities will occur live, so every member should check the schedule for what he or she does not want to miss!

Coaster Con at Home does not require any registration.

Join ACE for the opening ceremony via Zoom on Sunday, June 21, at 1 p.m. EDT. Visit aceonline.org/athome throughout the week for schedule updates, links to activities and everything ACEers need to know to enjoy Coaster Con at Home.
