As posted on their Facebook page, Hersheypark has announced:
”Last to ride alert! Wildcat will close Sunday, July 31 so be sure to visit this month for one final ride. Any suggestions on what we could do with 3,100 feet of wooden track? Stay tuned for details later this year. Grab tickets now to plan your July visit.”

In spite of their reference to ‘details later this year’, the majority of speculation to the Hershey, Pennsylvania park’s post is that the coaster will receive some sort of treatment from Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC).
