On July 27, 40 ACE members and their guests met at Raging Waves Waterpark in Yorkville, Illinois, for ACE Braves Raging Waves. The day started with a race on the six-lane Rally Racer Waterslide, which is only one of three of its kind in the world. The winner received a gift card to use in the park. Following this, attendees enjoyed the park until lunch.

The race on Rally Racer allowed attendees to begin the day in a competitive but friendly way.

During the meal, the creator of Raging Waves, Randy Witt, spoke with the group. A group photo was taken, and Witt then gave a behind-the-scenes tour of the pump house. After the tour, ACEers enjoyed the park again until the sandcastle-building contest, proving it is an activity not just for kids. Danny Tucker, who constructed the castle with the best three elements in the allotted 15 minutes, was announced as the winner and given a gift card to use in the park. This was followed by everyone in attendance enjoying ice cream and the park for the rest of the day.

Dawn Morris proudly shows off the gift card won for victory on Rally Racer, while Danny Tucker constructs the winner of the sandcastle-building contest.
