From November 8 to 10, Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, hosted a thrilling event for ACE members. The weekend was packed with exciting activities, presentations and exclusive ride times, making it a memorable experience for all attendees.
The event kicked off on Friday night with discounted rides on Runaway at Branson Mountain Adventure Park (Missouri). This exhilarating mountain coaster known for its 3,000-foot length and speeds of up to 30 mph, features multiple twists and turns. It provided the perfect start to the weekend for coaster enthusiasts.
ACEers were treated to presentations from Communications Manager Dalton Fischer and Silver Dollar City CEO Brad Thomas.

Saturday morning began with a light breakfast, setting the stage for the upcoming presentations. Dalton Fischer, communications manager, discussed the new attractions added in 2024 while Brad Thomas, CEO of Silver Dollar City, shared exciting news about the future, including the highly anticipated resort set to open in 2026 with its unique theming.
Following the presentations, ACE members enjoyed an hour of ERT on the reimagination of Fire In The Hole, giving them a chance to experience the ride without the usual crowds.
No visit to Silver Dollar City is complete without an excursion into Marvel Cave.

The day continued with a delicious BBQ dinner buffet at the Rivertown Smokehouse. Later, the park provided VIP seating for two of its biggest shows, "Dickens' Christmas Carol" and "Coming Home for Christmas," adding a festive touch to the event. Silver Dollar City provided a VIP lounge, where attendees could relax and enjoy apple dumplings with cinnamon ice cream, pretzels and hot drinks. This cozy setting offered a welcome break from the excitement of the park, allowing members to recharge and socialize.
Attendees enjoyed Silver Dollar City’s outstanding collection of roller coasters including Wildfire, its 2001 Bolliger & Mabillard looper.

The event drew participants from several states, all united by a love for roller coasters and theme parks. It was a fantastic opportunity for members to connect, share their passion and enjoy the hospitality of Silver Dollar City.
ACE Heart of America’s event at Silver Dollar City was a resounding success, filled with fun, food and exciting rides. An enjoyable time was had by all, and attendees left with great memories and anticipation for future events.
