On Saturday, December 7, the ACE Eastern Pennsylvania region held its second annual Merry ACEmas. The event started with a holiday party at Cointaker Rt 61 Events and ended the night with the stunning Joy Through the Grove drivethrough holiday light display at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania.
Cointaker provided a terrific venue for ACE Eastern Pennsylvania’s holiday party.

As attendees walked into the Cointaker facility, they were greeted by holiday-themed decorations and displays. Everyone received their badge and two tokens to enjoy one of the many pinball machines that Cointaker is known for. The group also sells and fixes pinball machines, should anyone be in the market for one. A few other arcade games, such as basketball, air hockey and more, were included with the event with unlimited gameplay.
ACE Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Representative Mike Matscherz spoke to attendees and hosted the holiday sweater/outfit contest.

After the first hour, attendees gathered for a delicious holiday meal, including home-cooked turkey, meatballs, stuffed shells, mashed potatoes, vegetables and salad with a hot chocolate bar! ACE Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Representative Mike Matscherz welcomed attendees and provided an update about the past year and upcoming events. Next up was a fun holiday sweater/outfit contest. Attendees voted for their favorites, and the top three winners had their choice from various prizes.
A table of treats made sure everyone was in the holiday spirit.

Members were then welcomed to spend their remaining time enjoying a delicious treat from the cookie table, making their own holiday ornament or playing a few more arcade games.
Joy Through the Grove featured impressive light displays visible from the warmth of vehicles.

Attendees then made their way to Knoebels, which was only 20 minutes away. The park’s impressive team continues to build on the success of this seasonal event. This year saw the addition of lights on Flyer and all new displays throughout the drivethrough experience.
