ACE Digital Events - ACE Loves Pets

This February ACE celebrated those valentines in our lives that aren’t human. ACEers with fur and scale babies got together to introduce themselves and the family of pets. The meeting had pet families with cats, dogs, lizards, and many others to give cuddles and love. The pets mostly got on screen, when they weren’t being shy, and were able to meet other pets with ACE parents.

Some pets were named after beloved rides while others had names prior to being welcomed into ACE families or were named for something else entirely. They got to share some of their proclivities such as which parks they would like to visit and their favorite rides. These ranged from some less taxing train rides to high rides like Ferris wheels and drop rides. There were also quite a few water rides mentioned, based on some of the pet interest in being (or not being) wet. Some pets presented a general ride type for their favorites while others had a specific ride they would be likely to enjoy.

There were quite a few stories of pets who watch the ACE YouTube channel and all the great videos featured there. Enjoying learning about the rides and parks they likely will not be able to ride, but enjoying the colors and fast movements all the same. Many of the favorite foods from parks were based on favorite foods at home and included some delicious choices such as potato patch fries, cinnamon bread, ice cream, and chicken fingers. There were a lot of smiles and some great stories of the pets in our lives sharing our love of coasters, even if only in our own minds.

Over the course of the hour together everyone got to share and learn a little more about each other and the pets in the room (including those hiding under beds). The event ended with a theoretical question of what ride each ACEer would love to be able to ride with their pet, if it was a possibility. Some great answers were included here, including some defunct rides and home parks.
