The South Whitehall Township (Pennsylvania) Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Wednesday, April 19, to grant preliminary final approval for Dorney Park's newest ride.
The attraction will be next to Possessed on the former Stinger roller coaster site, on a 2.7-acre portion of the 196-acre parcel. Stinger was removed in 2018.
Park representatives would not divulge information about the ride itself, citing proprietary information, but said it will be a steel roller coaster utilizing "cutting-edge" sound mitigation techniques.
