At Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, the original Zambezi Zinger was one of the park’s most popular rides – and one of three coasters – when it opened in 1973. Beloved by adults and kids alike, it had cars configured in a bobsled style that dashed through the trees for a fun and exhilarating ride. It closed in 1997.

The new Zambezi Zinger sits in the same location as the original, and guests will board in the same queue building, which will be updated with all new theming. The iconic spiral lift will be replicated, maneuvered via booster wheels.

Riding above its galvanized steel and wood frame on a low-to-the-ground track that races through the trees and terrain, guests will experience several moments of airtime, banked turns and quick transitions during the two-minute ride.
