I checked, the closest club to me is a little over an hour away, but I still think I'm going to check it out, you've got me intrigued. I'm always up for new things to do in the winter!

Check for a nearby Curling Club. Dedicated ice is a big deal if available. Do a Learn To Curl. In a couple of hours you'll learn the game, do some drills and play an end or two. Well worth the $25 bucks or so to know what's going on when you watch the Olympics.
Oh. And every Club has a bar. Winner buys the Loser a drink. Then Loser buys the Winner a drink, and so on!
I hate the cold. I hate team sports. But this is fun!

I've never done curling, but I am mesmerized by it every four years when the Winter Olympics comes on. It looks fun but also crazy difficult to master.

Why Curling of course! The aerobics of sweeping keeps me in shape so I can run to the nearest coaster come Spring!

For most of us in the region we now must wait a number of months til our parks are opened back up.
So, as the snow falls, what is your favorite thing to do until we can all ride coasters again?
