Thank you David!
I absolutely love hiking and history so all of those sound great! And, of course any coaster park, especially the ones with character have my attention. I will most likely make the drive, so Boston sadly won't fit with my agenda, but visiting the city and hitting all the historical sites is definitely on my bucket list.
Thanks again!

Hello Robert,
If you like hiking then the White Mountains in New Hampshire are a great place to go with a wide variety of hiking options. While there you can visit Santa's Village and Story Land, which are two absolutely delightful parks in the region (half day at each is probably sufficient, they are about 45 min apart). The Mt. Washington Cog Railway is a fun way to get to the highest peak in New England.
If you are flying in and/or out of Boston, it is hard to beat the Freedom Trail for a overview of its history. It can be walked in a day if you don't spend much time at one one place, but two days is better in my opinion.
Whatever you choose to do, hope you enjoy your visit to our region!
David

Hello fine folks of New England!
I am starting to work on the logistics needed to make the trip to Coaster Con next year... Being from Michigan I rarely make up your way, but I figure if I make it all the way to Coaster Con, I should go a little further east and visit your region. That being said what must I check out, both in terms of parks and other attractions?
I enjoy nature hikes and history and of course amusement parks.
Thanks in advance!
