Today I am relocating my son to college for the first time which got me thinking about relocated credits.... What is your favorite relocated credit?

I only have a few myself to choose from...

Ragin' Cajun and Firebird at Six Flags America

    Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure

But, my top one would have to be Dominator at King's Dominion

My oldest daughter went to college in Spokane, Washington. We took advantage of the trip west to make a visit to Silverwood Theme Park in nearby Athol, Idaho. Great park with two classic wooden coasters, Timber Terror and Tremors.

That park is out there... You almost have to have something to cause you to, "be in the neighborhood". Glad you had a chance to get on both of those! Hopefully someday I'll find myself, "in the neighborhood too?"

Do you have a preference between the two?

Both are solid CCI coasters, but I love the unique elements in Tremors, including the tunnel that goes through the middle of the gift shop. I'd love to get back to the park to ride again since RMC has done work on both, and Tremors now has Millennium Flyer trains.

RMC track does wonders (Shivering Timbers got some this year and is running great). Millennium Flyers have to be my favorite trains for woodies! I'm sure both are worth the trip!

My favorite for a long time was Firehawk at Kings Island. It was interesting to see where all of the Geauga Lake coasters ended up. I've been on a good handful. The Flying Cobras at Carowinds also runs really well, and the setting in the middle of the fair fits super well. I love the theming.

I would have loved to get on Firehawk, but I didn't get to King's Island until 2021. Thankfully I did finally get on a Flying Dutchman this year when I road Batwing.

I know Orion now is on much of that land... Is it a worthy successor?

To Firehawk, for sure! Too many people in Ohio compare it to Millennium Force sadly, and I know I compare it to Fury a lot. But when you see it for what it is, I very much enjoy it on its own.

I keep going back and forth between Millie and Orion. You can't help but fall into the trap of xonpaithe two since they both are gigas, but the truth is they really are trying to achieve different ends, Millie is all about speed while Orion, I believe, is looking to be more dynamic and varied.

We love to rank coasters, but it is true we just need to enjoy them for what they are. In the end the best coaster is the one you currently are on!
