Mad Mouse roller coaster, a staple at Joyland Amusement Park, Lubbock, Texas, for the past 44 years, is being dismantled to make room for a new attraction. The Sandstorm roller coaster will be taking its place, though no announcement was made of a manufacturer or style of roller coaster.
Though the amusement park opens on March 2, 2019, the new coaster is not expected to be up and running until this summer.
