PTCI accepting nominations for “Spirit of ACE”

It’s that time of year. Coaster Con is right around the corner and PTCI is looking for nominations of a deserving ACE member for The Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, Inc. Manufacturer’s Award, lovingly known as The Spirit of ACE Award, given out every year during the ACE national convention at the annual banquet.

The Spirit of ACE Award honors a member who goes above and beyond his or her duties as a roller coaster enthusiast. Those who are nominated look at ACE as more than just coaster riding, but also as an avenue for helping our organization. The member has a love for roller coasters and a passion for preserving as well as advocating for the amusement industry, while also helping it expand. Nominees foster and promote the conservation, appreciation, knowledge and enjoyment of roller coasters. Members of ACE nominated for the Spirit of ACE award give back to the club in any capacity they can, upholding the foundation ACE was built on while maintaining positive relationships with other members and amusement parks around the world.

Nominating a member for the Spirit of ACE award is simple. Write a letter or e-mail to Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, Inc.’s President, Tom Rebbie, describing why the member you have nominated deserves this prestigious award.
