The Executive Committee (EC) met on June 20, 2021, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Listed below are some of the meeting highlights:
Association Manager Jeffrey Seifert and Membership Director Jeremy Delong reported that ACE membership is steadily increasing. As of June, ACE has surpassed 6,000 active members, matching pre-pandemic numbers.
Vice President Jeff Niemiec reported that ACE will be recognized officially as a partner of Give Kids The World. The ACE logo will now appear on the shirts for Coasting for Kids. This partnership is in recognition of ACE’s ongoing support of Give Kids The World.
Region Director Chris Kraftchick reported that a new regional representative has been appointed in the Northwest region. He welcomed Kristin Bloom and announced that all 20 regions of ACE are now led by a regional representative.
The EC approved a motion to hold Coaster Con 45 at Dollywood in 2023.
Membership Director Jeremy Delong stated that the ACE membership drive began in June. The top three ACE members who refer new members to the club will receive a credit at the ACE store.
The EC approved a motion to plan an international trip that will begin in Krakow, Poland, and end in Brussels, Belgium, starting in July 2022. ACE is currently seeking volunteers to help plan this trip.
The EC discussed ACE elections in 2022. Anyone interested in running for office should reach out to the current officers for more information.
The EC approved a motion to donate $30,000 to Indiana Beach Parks and Entertainment from the Preservation Fund. The funds will be dispersed as follows: $10,000 to Indiana Beach, $10,000 to Clementon Park and $10,000 to Fantasy Island.
