After not being held last year, IAAPA Expo welcomed attendees to Orlando's Orange County Convention Center for the first time since November 2019. Once again, the ACE booth was in the center of the action on the showroom floor.

ACE members greeted many members of the amusement industry, including Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Park President Janine Durette, Six Flags New England Park President Pete Carmichael, OWA General Manager Mike Neace and from Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Communications Director Chris Ozimek and Park President Jeffrey Seibert. Representatives from Pacific National Exhibition, Traders Village, RCDB.COM, Glynn Geotechnical Engineering, Knoebels Amusement Resort and Holiday World & Splashin' Safari also visited the ACE booth.

Every visitor to the booth was given a World Roller Coaster Month pin and could participate in a fun interactive addition to the booth — Connected by Coasters — in which everyone can share their coaster story. Also, World Roller Coaster Month pins were delivered to the booths of most roller coaster manufacturers. ACE's presence at the expo continues to reach all aspects of the amusement industry and is a valuable tool for strengthening relationships with both parks and roller coaster companies.

The day began with Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters, Inc. unveiling a new wrapped coaster car featuring ACE and celebrating Connected by Coasters. Following that special live stream, ACE brought other press conferences from opening day to ACE members around the world, including presentations from Sally Dark Rides, Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) and Fun Spot America Atlanta. Sally Dark Rides introduced its new interactive dark ride coming to Lost Island Theme Park in Iowa and showcased one of the impressive audio‐animatronics from the attraction. One of the most exciting moments of the day came from Fun Spot America Atlanta when they presented a video and details of their new RMC coaster coming in 2022, ArieForce One. Champagne was passed around to celebrate Fun Spot America's largest addition to date. The excitement continued over to the RMC booth, where the unveiling of the themed lead car of ArieForce One thrilled onlookers. This new addition will certainly be a highlight of 2022!

Attendees who couldn't wait until next year to ride a new roller coaster, were treated to cycles on SBF Visa Group's figure eight coaster, which now features both horizontal spinning vehicles and a vertical spinning hamster wheel at the rear of the train. Stay tuned to ACE social media and ACE 360 tomorrow and the rest of the week for more announcements and updates on IAAPA Expo 2021.
