On a crisp morning, November 20, nearly 100 ACE members and guests arrived at SeaWorld San Antonio for ACE South Central's first-ever event to be held during the park’s annual Christmas celebration. Even though it was just before Thanksgiving, all things Christmas were in place on September 20, including more than six million lights, the largest display in Texas.

Attendees enjoyed ERT on Texas Stingray.

Following a private lunch just for the event, the group was invited to participate in behind-the-scenes tours of Texas Stingray, Wave Breaker or The Great White. These were followed by a hardhat construction tour of the park's new-for-2022 record-breaking attraction, Tidal Surge, an S&S Screamin’ Swing. This tour allowed participants the rare opportunity to step inside one of the support towers to see the inner workings of the new ride.

Attendees got an up-close look at the new Tidal Surge being installed.
