Spring has sprung in the Eastern Great Lakes Region! On Saturday, April 2, 2022, ACE Eastern Great Lakes hosted its second annual Spring Warm-Up event at Scene75 Dayton. It was a beautiful sunny, if not a little chilly, day in Dayton. Attendees didn’t notice the weather, though, because they were enjoying the climate-controlled environment of the largest family entertainment center in the United States.

The day started off, unsurprisingly, with a coaster! Tsunami, an SBF Visa spinning coaster, was added in December 2020. At 20 feet in height, it was the tallest operating SBF Visa coaster in North America at the time of the event. The queue quickly went from just four people to stretching all the way to its end when ACEers arrived.

Something a little out of the norm, the ride operator gave ACEers a little nudge/spin before they were dispatched. A very spinny ride was had!

Next up was the Adeline Carousel. This two-story carousel was dedicated to Scene75 founder Jonah Sandler’s grandmother Adele.

The Adeline Carousel features multiple seating options – stationary creatures, moving creatures and stationary benches, along with some spinning options.

After the carousel, attendees took a break before lunch so that they could enjoy Scene75 Dayton on their own. The break wasn’t long, as lunch was just a short time away.

After lunch, attendees headed over to the Go-Karts and took a lap — along with at least two spin outs — as a group.

The go-karts were a fun hit.

Last but not least was the Drop Tower. After riding the attraction, the organized portion of the event was over. A special thank you went to the Scene75 team for their impressive generosity. Attendees received $50 in arcade/attractions credits and a meal for only $30. It was a great value.
