Flying Viking, a Zamperla Junior coaster, will reach a top speed of 26 mph after a 50-foot climb, sailing through its 1,312-foot-long layout of swooping turns and helices. Flying Viking marks the first conventional family-style coaster in Adventureland’s history, providing thrills for all ages at a height requirement of just 36 inches.

Meanwhile on Draken Falls, a Zamperla Super Flume, riders 42 inches tall and above will board six-person ships. On this 1,214-foot-long journey with two drops, the ride culminates in a 40-foot plunge at 34 mph, followed by a splashdown finale. Draken Falls is a long-awaited successor to Adventureland’s original Log Flume, which was replaced by Monster — a Gerstlauer Infinity coaster — in 2016.

Both rides will be located across the midway from Phoenix, a Maurer spinning coaster. The layouts of Draken Falls and Flying Viking will be intertwined, sporting viking-style scenery. These 2023 additions continue Adventureland’s past decade of rapid expansion, further updating and diversifying its arsenal of attractions.
