At No Coaster Con on January 14, longtime ACE member Marty Moltz was honored with a special recognition. Moltz received an honorary membership in front of all those in attendance.
His plaque read:
“ACE Salutes the Honorable Marty Moltz for his decades of service and dedication to ACE. Marty has attended every Coaster Con since his first in 1982 — no other member has attended more consecutively. Marty has served as the “torchbearer” to begin the Midway Olympics for each Coaster Con. He has been an asset to ACE with legal advice and negotiations through the years. Since the mid-1980s, Marty has served as No Coaster Con master-of-ceremonies. He is an accomplished judge and legal scholar. Marty has performed marriage ceremonies for many ACEers as well. At every event, Marty is a goodwill ambassador for ACE, forming new friendships and making all attendees feel welcome and connected. Marty has truly contributed significantly to ACE.”
