On the morning of Saturday, August 5, approximately 25 ACEers and friends gathered at the entrance to Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in Spring, Texas, two hours prior to the park’s opening. This marked the first event at the park since 2018.

Attendees were welcomed by park staff with a gift bag that included a refillable drink cup, T-shirt and koozie. Upon entering the park, the group was escorted first to a pavilion reserved all day just for attendees and then to a breakfast of made-to-order breakfast tacos. Simultaneously, two hours of ERT began on several of the park’s slides, FlowRider and kids’ play area. After the park’s opening to the public, there were a couple of hours to enjoy Hurricane Harbor Splashtown’s many other attractions before a delicious BBQ lunch was served. Following a quick group photo after lunch, it was back into the park to play before a late-afternoon snack of popcorn and snow cones was served.

ACE South Central extended its appreciation to Hurricane Harbor staff members Rosie, Kelly and Ashlyn for welcoming ACE back to the park with an amazing event!
