The revamped Fiesta Village of Knott’s Berry Farm, Buena Park, California, will make its debut on May 26, but without the overhauled Montezooma’s Revenge roller coaster.
In a press release, Knott’s said the updated coaster — now renamed Montezooma: The Forbidden Fortress — will not open with the rest of the land “due to construction delays.” No opening date has been set.
The original Montezoom’s Revenge, which dates to 1978, closed last year for major renovations which will include a new randomized launch sequence.
