Although ACE events are typically known for perks like ERT and behind-the-scenes tours, it’s the time with fellow enthusiasts that is the heart of every event. Which is why, on November 15, 2025, the Eastern Great Lakes region hosted its final event of the year, Cruisin’ at Craig’s, at Craig’s Cruisers Family Fun Center in Wyoming, Michigan.

Craig’s Cruisers dates back to 1979, when the Cihak family built a go-kart track in Silver Lake, Michigan. Over the years new attractions were introduced, along with a second location in Muskegon, Michigan, in 1990 and a third in Holland, Michigan, in 1994. The fourth and largest location opened in Wyoming, Michigan (a southern suburb of Grand Rapids), in 1999, offering year-round operations. The park’s only roller coaster, Cruiser Coaster, opened in February 2018 as part of the park’s largest expansion. Cruiser Coaster is the standard MX608 Park Model A spinning coaster from the SBF-Visa Group. The park was a runner up for Amusement Today’s Golden Ticket for Breakout Family Entertainment Center in 2024.

After checking in inside the park entrance, members and their guests were treated to four hours of unlimited attraction wristbands that included all of the indoor attractions as well as unlimited access to the pizza and pasta buffet. As an added bonus, the park contributed a $10 arcade gift card per person and access to a private party room for the group to hang out and take a break between activities.

In addition to the usual group photo and informal takeover times, Eastern Great Lakes also hosted its first Glow Golf Tournament. Attendees could head upstairs, enjoy a round of glow golf and submit their scores for the chance to win an award. It came down to the wire (one stroke), but Paul Osmer ended up taking home the win with a score of 20.

Although not a large event by any means, Cruisin’ at Craig’s gave members in Michigan a chance to connect and enjoy a little offseason fun. The management at Craig’s Cruisers is always a delight to work with, and much gratitude was extended to Cait Black, director of sales, for offering an amazing value to attendees. ACE Eastern Great Lakes hopes to host more events at Craig’s Cruisers in the future.
