Next week, I will be making my first visit to Mt Olympus. I will have limited time, but I don't want to miss the park's unique features.

What should I not miss outside of the coasters?

Any must try food (particularly local eats or libations)?

Any local nearby unique attractions/restaurants that I should visit?

    Thanks for the tips!

It's been a while since my last visit.  I recall that they have some pretty good go-kart tracks, and the wave pool is similar to the one at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, where the wave is enormous.

The tiered wooden go kart tracks are cool, but unless you're a waterpark person, there's not much else to do other than the coaster credits.

    To add to Bill;s comments...

I only experienced the wave pool, it is unique and excellent

Rise of Icarus America's tallest waterslide at 145 feet

Medusa's Slidewheel combines Ferris wheel and a waterslide.

Posiden's Rage is a wave pool.  It is huge rush of water versus the traditional resonance wave

    Hi Elizabeth -

You may have already gone, but if you haven't, the WI Dells are full of fun! The Ducks are amazing (WI River tour) and if you want an excellent meal, the Del-Bar is fab. Just driving around the Dells and seeing all of the silly sights is fun.

    Enjoy!

New Glaurus is a Wisconsin beer. They don't sell it outside the state. And Spotted Cow by New Glaurus is on draft at Mount Olympus. A nice, light, clean beer. Worth a try. This is an excellent one for your untapped check in at the park :)
