Thanks for the tips/recommendations. I absolutely love those parks that are a little less... "official". Thos parks that have charm sometimes provide a more memorable experience than many of the chain parks.
We are counters so in our minds every credit is worth the trip and you can't leave a park until you have them all. The more unique, the better!
We will definitely pass on Stuarts and head straight to Hillbilly's!
Thanks again!!!

Camden Park is a MUST from a nostalgia point of view. There are just not that many experiences like it left in the USA. The Big Dipper itself is worth the trip to visit. An old rickety woodie that still has operator hand paddles for the breaks. Again, you will only get that experience in the US at only a handful of places. There will also be two more credits to get there if you are a counter like most other psychos in this club (myself included). The whip is one of the better old whip's left in the US as well. I'd put it up there with the one at Dorney, Hershey, and Kennywood. Great classics that have just about completely disappeared from the amusement park landscape. There is a skylift to get on, a ghost train dark ride, and a funky slime water log flume that gets the funky water all on you. Amy mentioned going to Hillbilly Hotdogs, which is another out of world experience. You won't find ANYTHING like it so just go for the experience. One word of caution - if anyone tells you Stuarts Hotdog's is just as good, look real hard at them because they are lying to you LOL. Last, if you are credit hunting, there will be a SBF Visa across the river in Ashland, Kentucky at the Malibu Jacks.

More likely than not I will find myself at Kentucky Kingdom next year, I am thinking about making the three hour drive to Camden Park, am I crazy?
