What from IAAPA would you like to see find it's way into our region?

IAAPA is in the books now so, looking back, what, other than Phantom Theater, would you like to see from the Expo make its way to our region?

I really want to see that new see-through Rotor ride make its way to a park nearby.  I love an old school Rotor, and we don't have any in this country anymore.

It's a classic ride that I think is due for a comeback. It would fit in just about any park in our region and honestly wouldn't be all that expensive of an installation.

I saw this rotor at the Maury County fair in Columbia Tn.  Kissel owns it.  https://kisselentertainment.com/rides/byid/62

Kissel only sent a kids only coaster to Maury Co Fair(Ghoster Coaster has 48" max height)  Kissel has 5 coasters total.  Also, a Chance Rockoplane and Astro Wheel and a couple other great 50/60's rides

It would be sweet if ACE could do a meet up there.  Maybe arrange a ride on Ghoster Coaster?

That would be interesting and fun, I don't know if anyone has tried to do a meet up to ride a coaster that is not a permanent installation. Definitely something worth keeping an eye on when we get closer to fair season!

Fair rides are tricky on many fronts... but ACE did feature Wildcat North Georgia State Fair in the Schwarzkopf documentary.  I rode it this summer and it was great

5 coasters were at Wilson County Fair - Tennessee State Fair  and they have an awesome rare Zierer Flitzer coaster... only 1 operating on RCDB is Barracuda at Jolly Rodger.

Bit of a side note, very few fair coasters are in RCDB.  So it is tricky to find and count credits.

I am planning a visit to Washington's state fair to ride Wildcat and Classic coaster in Sept... plus Silverwood, Vancover playland etc.

Tricky for sure, but not impossible! (I'm forever an optimist)

I definitely need to track down fair coasters, it would be a fun challenge.

I'd love to get out to the North West and checkout those parks... Just can't find an excuse to make the trip.

Side note, the last SBNO Rotor I've seen was at Frontier City, Tumbleweed.... I regret not riding it.  The Cajun Cliffhanger at SFGrAm was very popular, but due to operator error, an accident occurred in 2000 and it was removed.

I think Canoby Lake in New Hampshire still has one, but I am not sure. I rode it in 2004, the last time I was there. It could've been removed by now. It was a more upgraded one, which is why I think it could still be there. It had a tile floor and a spindle in the middle, which the older ones did not have.

Conbie Lake is only a three hour drive from Six Flags New England... Perhaps it's worth a look if/when we make it out there for Coaster Con!

I've never been on one myself, I'm definitely starting to look back and realize there are some experiences I passed up that I regret. Hopefully things circle back and rides like the rotor find their way back into fairgrounds and parks.

I think that would be a great ride for Kings Island! They had one once upon a time, but it's gone nearly 45 years now!

We know they have plenty of room to work with... Maybe near or around Action Zone

The last time I rode a rotor was a few years ago at the Prater in Vienna.  They have absolutely no rules there, you could ride it upside down if you were so inclined!  (I did not, as I am an old.  But 30 years ago, I probably would have).

I know my older cousins rode one at a fair in the 80's. I recall them bragging about ride it upside down. I thought they were crazy. I, on the other hand, was to scared at the time to even ride it standing up.
