Carowinds, Charlotte, North Carolina, announced Copperhead Strike is set to open for a season passholder preview the night of March 22, 2019. The official opening for everyone is the following day, March 23.
Copperhead Strike has 3,255 feet of track, five inversions and launches riders from zero to 42 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds. Toward the end of the ride, thrill seekers are launched again up to 50 mph.
