Kings Dominion, Doswell, Virginia, has announced the removal of Volcano: The Blast Coaster.
According to the park's web page, after expert evaluation from guest satisfaction, throughput and rider capacity to reliability, uptime and maintenance, the decision has been made to remove the coaster.
While Kings Dominion indicates they “have some exciting announcements” yet to be made, no clue was offered as to what might go into the space that Volcano now occupies.
