Fiesta Fest was held April 9, 2022, at Six Flags Fiesta Texas with 120 ACE members and guests in attendance. The morning started with check-in and the first ride of the day on Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster. After the first ride of the day, attendees were given a behind-the-scenes construction tour of Fiesta Texas’ newest coaster, Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger, and given an exclusive look at the location of the golden bolt. It is the first Bolliger & Mabillard coaster to be installed in Texas in 20 years.

The attendees were encouraged to explore the park and learn more about the park’s history by participating in an ACE Exclusive 30th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt and compete for a top prize that was awarded during dinner.

Attendees snagged first rides of the day on Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster before the public arrived.

A very special treat was reserved seating for the spectacular revival of a fan-favorite show, “Rockin’ at Rockville High” and an on-stage group photo following the show. The award-winning show harkens back to the park’s opening year of 1992.
A dinner of barbeque with all the trimmings was served, and announcements were made by the ACE South Central rep team and Park President Jeffrey Seibert. After dinner, attendees were taken for a short walk to get a surprise, up-close and exclusive first look at Dr. Diabolical’s train for the new dive coaster. In true Fiesta Texas fashion, the reveal was done with theatrical flair with Dr. Diabolical herself, fog and dramatic lighting. Attendees found it great fun.

The night concluded with reserved seating for the “Celebrate! 30 Nighttime Spectacular” fireworks/multimedia show, exclusive ride time on Iron Rattler and frozen ice cream treats. The new finale show was a wonderful tribute to the first 30 years of the park.
Thanks were offered to the entire team at Six Flags Fiesta Texas for hosting another tremendous event and their continued support of American Coaster Enthusiasts.
