American Coaster Enthusiasts was invited to SeaWorld San Antonio on April 10, 2022, to help celebrate the 25th birthday of The Great White, Texas’ first Bolliger & Mabillard roller coaster. The Great White holds special significance as being the very first roller coaster to be installed at any of the SeaWorld parks.

The day started early with ACE members and guests being escorted into the park for an hour of exclusive ride time on Texas Stingray wooden roller coaster and SeaWorld’s newest ride, Tidal Surge, the tallest and fastest S&S Screaming Swing in the world.
Morning rides on the exciting Texas Stingray woke everyone up.

The Great White Birthday Party then kicked off with the first ride of the day and exclusive ride time reserved for attendees. The first riders of the day broke into an impromptu song of “Happy Birthday” before being dispatched from the station. Birthday cookies and gifts were given to everyone as part of the celebration.
The Great White was the first roller coaster installed into any SeaWorld park and the first B&M coaster in Texas.

ACEers were given goodies from the SeaWorld team in honor of the occasion.

After the birthday party, guests were encouraged to continue the fun and enjoy the Seven Seas Food Festival with discounted passes for food and beverages featured at the festival.
Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed the park’s collection of coasters — Wave Breaker (Intamin launched), Steel Eel (Morgan megacoaster), Journey to Atlantis (Mack Super Splash coaster) and Super Grover’s Box Car Derby (Zierer junior coaster).
