What do ACEers do in Texas after an event at a water park in the middle of summer? They go to another water park, of course! On Sunday, August 6, following ACE South Central’s Hurricane Harbor Splashtown event, ACEers met up at Big Rivers Water Park & Adventures located in New Caney, Texas, about 30 minutes from Hurricane Harbor Splashtown (Spring, Texas).
More than just a waterpark, Big Rivers Water Park & Adventures also has a Big Rivers Fairground section, which includes several flat rides and a SBF MX 620 Mixed Coaster called High Voltage. It also boasts several aerial attractions including zip lines and ropes courses as well as axe throwing, archery and more.
Attendees were treated to discounted admission for the day, which included the aerial attractions that typically require separate tickets as well as a deluxe meal at one of the park’s food locations. At opening, everyone gathered at the pavilion for a quick group photo before heading off to enjoy the park with no set schedule for the day.
ACE South Central extended thanks to Vincent for setting up the organization’s return for a second straight year.
