    Hey all,

I plan on going to the ERScream! event at King's Island and I was thinking that I might want to take a two hour detour and visit Kentucky Kingdom. Is it worth the detour? I'd only be able to give it about 5 hours, is that enough? I know the park is being worked on, would it be better for me to wait til next year?

Hello!  We got Kentucky Kingdom passes this year to experience it in each season (we live a few miles from Kings Island).  Nice little park as long as you go in with the right expectations.  It is getting better for sure.  5 hours would be plenty to experience their roller coasters and some of their flat rides.  Having said that, there is construction happening for next year.  And if you like water parks, they have a nice one.  So maybe next year would be good?

They do have the same cinnamon bread as Dollywood, and Kentucky Kingdom offers a bourbon icing for it that I like along with the apple butter!

My next visit will be for their Pumpkins at Kentucky Kingdom festival.

    Thanks for the info!

I heard that there might be some construction for next year so waiting does sound like the right call... But now you have me intrigued with the Bourbon icing... How do I wait eight months to try that! lol.

    Thanks again for the info!

We visited Post-Con this year. The park was great! Lots of theming. Nice vibes. Worth the visit.

It's always been on my radar, I'm only about 5 hours away and thet appear to have a solid 1-2 punch, now that Herschend is giving it some love I definitely need to head down there!

We try to catch the buy next years pass and get the rest of the year included deal. Should be coming up soon I'm guessing. Last time we got bring a friend tickets with each pass for both years so we would buy 2 passes and use the 2 free to get 4 people in. Plus, when you're a pass holder you get half price at SDC and Dollyworld so I used that a few times. Note, you do have to get your pass at KK first to use the 50%.

If you're only going for one day ACE does have a discount for 2025 so make sure you check the old website [https://www.aceonline.org/page/MemberBenefitsMO]

I'm wondering if the discounts you get as a passholder will extend to Kennywood starting next year.

Thank you for the tips. I don't live close enough (western Michigan ) for the season pass to probably pay off, but the ACE discount will no doubt come in handy!

Thank you for the work you do on the Benefits Committee!
